Please join us for the second of a pair of talks on:
The Role of PIs in Judgment Collections: PART TWO
Presented by:
David Hodges, FCI - Past FALI President
(Even if you missed part one last month you will still get a lot out of this presentation!)
About the Topic
“Winning” a judgment against a defendant is often times easier than collecting on that judgment. The process of collecting on a judgment can be tedious and time consuming; especially when the judgment debtor takes steps to conceal assets. This is where private investigators can play an important role in the process.
David will discuss the bulleted items below:
· What to stay away from because it means trouble
· How to structure your remuneration
· What you can do legally
· Where to look for clients
· The role of bankruptcy
· The dangers of purchasing judgments
· How to locate assets and determine which assets can be reached
You’ve asked for ways to make more money as a private investigator; well, this is your opportunity…so don’t miss it!
