A Message from Area Director Matt Jones:
Hello FALI Panhandle Members, I
am excited to invite you to our
next quarterly area meeting, which will be my first as your new FALI
Panhandle Area Director. Securing a consistent venue can be challenging,
but I'm pleased to announce we will be meeting at a great location this
quarter! We look forward to a highly engaging and informative first
meeting. Please confirm your attendance by replying to this email! Please RSVP by Friday December 12th by clicking RSVP above * * * * * * Main Event: What is Your Secret Weapon? (Member-Led Session)The
most valuable asset we have is the collective knowledge and exptise
within our FALI network. This meeting will be focused entirely on
sharing actionable, high-value intelligence. We are asking every
attendee to come prepared to share one thing—be it a tool, a technique, a
database, or a niche skill—that you rely on and consider your "Secret
Weapon" in your investigative practice. This is your chance to share, learn, and elevate your practice. Examples to get you thinking: A specific, under-utilized OSINT technique. A unique piece of gear or technology (like specialized LPR search capabilities). A highly efficient business practice (e.g., a client intake or report writing system). A networking strategy that consistently drives quality referrals.
Please plan to take 2-3 minutes to present your secret weapon! Critical Topic: Class G & Florida Open CarryFollowing
our main session, we will have a brief but cruial discussion on the
new Florida open carry law and its specific implications for Private
Investigators operating with a Class G license under Chapter 493. We
will focus on compliance, maintaining professional standards, and
ensuring we operate within the letter of the law while performing our
duties.
