Due to Hurricane Matthew, the St. Augustine meeting was cancelled last month. We hope members who usually attend that meeting will come to this month's meeting in Jacksonville which is the last meeting before the holidays.
It will be worth the trip!!
We have a great speaker, presenting a very important topic, and our 4th Annual Food Drive for the Mandarin Food Bank.

Jacksonville Area FALI Holiday Service Project 4th Annual Food Drive for the Mandarin Food Bank at St. Joseph’s Church
The Mandarin Food Bank is severely understocked with non-perishable food items for this time of year. They desperately need help. About Mandarin Food Bank: Their mission is to provide emergency food and clothing to those in need in the Mandarin Community. They are a ministry run entirely by volunteers. Thanksgiving and Christmas are the two hardest hit holidays for people needing food. Mandarin Food Bank is always there to help the community. Current Needs: canned green beans, corn, and peasbathroom tissue
canned soup bar soap peanut butter jelly Ramen noodles spaghetti sauce shampoo Other items to donate: They also accept clothing, toys (for the children on their birthday and at Christmas), and monetary donations. They are always in need of monetary donations as they can buy most of their fresh meats, dairy products, and other essential food items that are in short supply. If you would like to make a monetary donation, please make the check payable to Mandarin Food Bank. All donations are tax deductible, just ask for a receipt.
