Orlando Area FALI Networking Meeting

Tuesday, October 25, 2016 - 5:00pm

Members asked for a New Location and
Great Guest Speaker. This month we have both!

A Message from Area Director Roger Martinez:
I hope everyone fared well with Matthew throwing everything at us, including the kitchen sink.

I appreciate everyone's patience as I learn the ins and outs of being a FALI Area Director. This is YOUR meeting, and your input is greatly appreciated.
At last month's meeting, I asked what things we could bring to you, the members.

The first request was a quieter meeting locale more conducive to networking, and hearing.
It is very difficult to find a venue that has a private room, FREE of cost. However I am pleased to report that I have found a location more conducive to speaking and being heard.
Our next meeting will be held at:

Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill 7502
1430 State Road 436
Casselberry, FL 32707

The second item discussed last month was guest speakers.  There was a great interest in the subject of Cyber-InvestigationsAs such it gives me great pleasure to announce this month's guest speaker:

Bruce Anderson

Director of Cyber Investigation Services, LLC
Topic: Computer Hacking

Bruce Anderson is the Co-Founder of Cyber Investigation Services, LLC in Tampa and a fellow FALI member. In this capacity he is an expert in the area of the preservation of electronic or digital evidence. This is a topic important to all of us to insure best practices are being employed to prevent the attack, mitigation, or suppression of valuable digital evidence. Bruce will discuss the best practices to be utilized in evidence retention.
