This month’s speaker:
The Honorable Judge Robert Paul LeBlanc
Topic: The conduct of investigations in support of criminal and family litigation and proceedings.
Judge LeBlanc graduated with honors from St. John's Preparatory School, a Catholic boarding school in Boston, Massachusetts. He attended nearby Bradford College. During his junior year, Judge LeBlanc studied political science and philosophy abroad at the American College of Paris. He graduated with honors with a BA in political philosophy from Bradford College in 1980. Thereafter, he undertook graduate studies in political philosophy at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. Judge LeBlanc graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 1989.
He interned with the Public Defender's Office in Orlando and the American Stock Exchange in New York during summer breaks from law school. Judge LeBlanc worked two years as a public defender in Orlando and later was employed for five years at Bogin, Munns & Munns where he handled criminal defense cases and learned personal injury law. Judge LeBlanc established his own firm, LeBlanc & Iennaco, in 1996 with partner Frank Iennaco. He practiced there until he became a judge in the Ninth Judicial Circuit in 2007. Judge LeBlanc is in his sixth year assigned to Circuit Criminal Division 15.
Judge LeBlanc is active with several community organizations and has served for twelve years on the board of the Mennello Museum of American Art. Among other organizations, Judge LeBlanc volunteers with Orange Center Elementary School with a Rotary group.
About the meeting: This is a FREE event is open to ALL members (or potential members) of the investigative professions. The event is sponsored by the Florida Association of Licensed Investigators (FALI) as part of our continuing efforts to provide our membership with quality educational and networking opportunities. FALI meetings held in the Orlando area are made available for those investigators living or working in central Florida and are open to ALL investigators across the state. Central Florida Area meetings are normally held the last Tuesday of every month.
Drinks after the meeting: Feel free to stay, meet, mingle and network with other investigators immediately following the meeting. This venue has a dedicated room for us with overstuffed chairs and an excellent food and drink menu ..
