Orlando Area Investigators' meeting

This month's meeting is going to be exciting!!!  

We are going behind the scenes at airport security!  

It's so much more than even the seasoned traveler would think: 

• Operations center that coordinates alerts nationwide
• Bomb expert to show you explosives disguised as ordinary items
• Plain clothes profiler to explain how they look for suspicious activity
• High tech sniffer and other advanced instruments to detect narcotics and explosives
• Screening techniques

Afterward, we will enjoy some happy hour camraderie and refreshments at a bar near the airport.  Consider parking at the bar and carpooling into the airport to save on parking.

The exact meeting place at the airport is at the shoe sign stand behind the American Airlines ticket counter near gates 1 - 59 (don't be confused with the other shoe sign stand).  Our TSA executive needs a head count in advance, as there are space issues in some of the areas.  I don't usually ask you, but this time it's important to RSVP ASAP!

About the meeting: This is a FREE event is open to ALL members (or potential members) of the investigative professions.  The event is sponsored by the Florida Association of Licensed Investigators (FALI) as part of our continuing efforts to provide our membership with quality educational and networking opportunities. FALI meetings held in the Orlando area are made available for those investigators living or working in central Florida and are open to ALL investigators across the state. Central Florida Area meetings are normally held the last Tuesday of every month.

Drinks after the meeting: Feel free to stay, meet, mingle and network with other investigators immediately following the meeting.
