Also, in respect of the holidays, this and next month's meetings will not be the last Tuesday of the month as customary.
This month's speaker will be

Bob Rubin
Topics: "Meat & Potato Investigations” or
How to Make Money When the Police Do a Poor Job
Mr. Rubin has nearly 40 years of experience including law enforcement, corrections and investigation of civil cases. He began his career with the New York State Parkway Police in 1974. He graduated from college and relocated to Florida. Between 1976 and 1989, he completed over 5,000 investigations for the State of Florida, including notable pre and post sentence investigations, on Gene Giles (convicted Brevard County serial killer), Gerald Stano (convicted multi-state serial killer) and John Crutchley (convicted Brevard County "vampire rapist” and suspected multi-state serial killer).
In 1985, he began Space Coast Investigations with his wife, Kathy. This part-time detective agency was designed to assist local attorneys by thoroughly investigating civil cases in preparation of litigation. In 1989, Mr. Rubin accepted the position of legal investigator on staff to the law firm which became Nance Cacciatore, where Mr. Rubin completed over 10,000 investigations. The law firm specialized in plaintiff personal injury, wrongful death, professional malpractice and product liability cases. During his tenure with the law firm, he successfully investigated more than a dozen cases resulting in verdicts or settlements in excess of one million dollars for clients. He also acted as the security consultant to the Plaintiff’s Tobacco Attorneys representing the State of Florida in successful litigation against the tobacco industry in 1997.
Mr. Rubin has acted as the National Chairperson for the library on behalf of the National Association of Legal Investigators (NALI). He is now the proud owner of Bob Rubin & Associates, returning to his roots of assisting attorneys and their clients by applying his investigation skills to their cases. Last, but not least, he is a FALI 15 year milestone member!
