November and December. . .
FALI Gives Back
November 14th:
Tampa Bay FALI Area members have an opportunity to give thanks to the local community by serving a hot meal at Trinity Café which provides meals to the homeless, hungry, and working poor. The meals are prepared by a professional chef and served by volunteer servers, that’s where FALI comes in. We will be serving food from 11am to approximately 1pm. Once serving of food is completed, FALI participants will relocate for the opportunity to network and discuss investigative community related topics. If you wish to participate in this unique opportunity for November, please contact wtaylor@eks-security.com to secure your spot. If you commit to attend please make sure that you can, Trinity Café relies heavily on the volunteers who commit and sign up for this event. Please RSVP by 30 October 2014. More details to follow
December:
During the month of December there is no scheduled meeting due to the holidays. Instead, FALI Area 1 will conduct a small toy drive to assist a local area nonprofit, Layla’s House. This nonprofit promotes healthy, happy families by coordinating and providing programs, resources, activities and opportunities that enhance positive early childhood development and support families of children from birth to age five. If you wish to donate a packaged toy for children up to the age of five, you can bring it to the October or November events, or contact wtaylor@eks-security.com for further information.
