Attorney Diana Tennis & Judge Scott Polodna
Orlando attorney, Diana Tennis, is one of the area’s most experienced family law and criminal defense attorneys. Graduating from the University of Florida with her B.A. in Political Science and then earning her J.D. with honors from the University of Florida, College of Law, Diana was admitted to the Florida and U.S. Middle District Bars in 1992. Since then she’s been successfully representing her clients in both Family and Criminal Law cases, and has numerous professional memberships. Diana has taught numerous classes and seminars in the area of trial practices, jury selection, and the death penalty. She is frequently sought out for her legal analysis about important cases and legal issues, appearing frequently on local news programs.
Since 1990, Judge Scott Polodna has been a respected and valued member of our Central Florida legal community. Judge Polodna was a 1990 UF law school graduate in the Public Defender’s office, where he quickly distinguished himself in the courtroom and served as a valued trial attorney and administrator for over ten years. Judge Polodna joined the Osceola County Attorney’s office in 2001, in the practice of civil law. Appointed to our Circuit Court by Governor Jeb Bush in 2006, Judge Polodna served his first seven years on the criminal bench, often presiding over high profile and death penalty cases. He currently serves in the civil division dealing with cases involving medical malpractice, personal injury and complex construction law.
Topics: guidance on how to better conduct investigations, collect evidence, liaise with attorneys, testify, etc.
About the meeting: This is a FREE event is open to ALL members (or potential members) of the investigative professions. The event is sponsored by the Florida Association of Licensed Investigators (FALI) as part of our continuing efforts to provide our membership with quality educational and networking opportunities. FALI meetings held in the Orlando area are made available for those investigators living or working in central Florida and are open to ALL investigators across the state. Central Florida Area meetings are normally held the last Tuesday of every month at the Best Western Inn, 17-92 and Morse Blvd., Winter Park, FL. If you are traveling and need overnight accommodations, the Best Western offers discounted rates.
Dinner before the meeting: If you are interested in dining together around 5:00 p.m. at a venue somewhat near the meeting place, please contact me at ollie@averyprivateeye.com Individuals would be responsible for the cost of their meal.
Drinks after the meeting: Feel free to stay, meet, mingle and network with other investigators immediately following the meeting by the poolside of the Best Western.
