The FALI Cyber-Event
Jumping around is the theme of this day-long presentation & training! A mélange of information from fascinating tech world "bet you didn’t know” tidbits that affect us all every single day, to some cyber tech tools that might scare you. We will also wander through the world of fraud, theft of intellectual property, and data infiltration and exfiltration to show how hackers are achieving many goals. We will dip into computer and cellular forensics, with instructions on what is possible, what is not, what you can do yourself, and what you cannot. Later we will get into some of the legalities surrounding spyware on computers and cellular phones, as well as email and data collection. Misconceptions abound in this area! Most importantly, we will be demonstrating some different types of online information collection that is occurring right under your nose, but almost assuredly without your knowledge. Looking to expand into cellular or data forensics? Come on down and learn how to avoid the shills and shysters that want to lighten your wallet, so that you can set up a lab with the best training and tools available. Finally, you will find out about a most recent war that you have never heard of, where bits and bytes were the bullets and bombs.
