ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

SAL YAZBECK is president of South Florida based Risk Management Intelligence. a forensic knowledge discovery consulting firm.  RMI provides investigative data services addressing the legal needs of law firms, corporations, and their subsidiaries, with a focus on forensic document review, online investigations, pre-due diligence, compliance, and fraud prevention. Sal’s expertise includes text analytics, social media/web discovery, visual analytics, link exploration, geo-mapping, and intelligence synthesis. He has a Ph.D. in Information Systems; and MBA and BBA degrees in business. In today’s world, we are depending more and more on Social Media to conduct thorough investigations. It is so important to stay "up-to-date’ on how to conduct those social media investigations. Presented in a conversational, interactive format, Dr. Sal Yazbeck presents "Best Practices in Conducting Social Media Discovery to Help Enhance the Value of Your Investigative Services”.  This session will cover two primary themes: new trends in authenticating social media content at the metadata level as a valuable and defensible litigation support service; and, applying a chain of custody approach - from data collection to production level for legal review

ABOUT THE LOCATION:

The Marriott Courtyard has a lovely Bistro in the lobby, set up much like a Panera Bread Shop.  They sell starters, soups, salads, sandwiches burgers and more!  AND have a BAR with a HAPPY HOUR from 5:00PM – 7:00PM. You order at the counter then take your food to the seating selection of your choice.  We’ll all try and stay in one section, for the purpose of networking.  We are VERY LUCKY to have this place!!!.  They are giving us a conference room for free in exchange for the business we bring to the Bistro.  Although the meeting is free, you will be responsible for your own food and drinks.  Please, let’s show our appreciation and ALL plan to come and eat & drink before this very informative meeting!   Check it out here:
