Topic: Beth will be discussing how to get easy access to Florida DMV records with AutoDataDirect now that Tag Talk is basically no longer available. The web-based service offers instant access to real-time up to date motor vehicle and driver’s license records for qualified investigative and security agencies. Beth will demonstrate how simple it is to use AutoDataDirect and the most economical manner to accomplish your business needs through Accessing information from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) database. This direct information is available to agencies and investigators qualified under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act (DPPA) for the purpose of searching Florida motor vehicle records and driver license information. Beth will also discuss additional states in addition to Florida that AutoDataDirect has direct access information and the restrictions that may apply. Location: Chili’s-2903 N. Dale Mabry Hwy. Tampa, FL 33607. The restaurant is located on Dale Mabry just north of I-275 and just south of the Bucs Stadium (Raymond James). For those attending there will be other investigators and agencies on hand as early as 11:00 AM for early networking. Credit for CEU’s for the Florida Certified Investigators (FCI) will be issued for this meeting. Roy Pierce FCI, CLI, will be available at the meeting to discuss how to become a Florida Certified Investigator (FCI) and the program. There will also be an early sidebar meeting among those of you that are JAC court appointed investigators in attendance.
We have in attendance as private investigators former and retired investigative reporters, law firm in-house investigators, attorney, insurance and adjuster field, medical field, Certified Public Accountants, Computer Forensics, Polygraph, military, federal agents, state and local law enforcement, and all aspects of the business world. At the last FALI area meeting in Tampa, there were Forty-One (41) private investigators and guests present representing Thirty (30) private investigative and other agencies.
