ABOUT OUR SPEAKER: ROBERT G. AMSEL Attorney Robert Amsel has dedicated his entire practice to handling criminal defense and forfeiture matters in State and Federal Courts throughout the US. He is board certified by the Florida Bar and the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a specialist in criminal trial law. A graduate of the University of Florida as well as University of Miami Law (where he is now an adjunct professor) he has also been admitted to the Supreme Court of Florida and to the United States Supreme Court. Additionally, he is a member of the US Court of Appeals for the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth and Eleventh Circuits as well as a member of the Trial Bar of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Mr. Amsel is also the recipient of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Presidents Commendation Award. Most recently, Mr. Amsel was named one of South Florida's top five lawyers (out of 5000 FL lawyers) by the Miami Metro Magazine. Additionally, he had been named a top attorney in the criminal law field by The South Florida Legal Guide and Super Lawyers Magazine.
