Meetings will be held the second Monday of every month alternating locations between Jacksonville and St. Augustine. Social Media is everywhere today and used by millions of persons and organizations. It is a rich source of information for investigators, analysts and researchers. Mr. Florez will provide an overview of the primary social media sites in use today, their value to investigators and provide a demonstration of the types of tools investigators should be using to legally access that information. About the Speaker: Carl Florez is a former police officer, state investigator and FBI Agent where he specialized in computer and internet based investigations. Mr. Florez retired from the FBI in 2002 and began working as a private investigator in Seattle, Washington before moving to St. Augustine, Florida in 2005. He currently works as a private investigator in Florida where he focuses primarily on computer and mobile device forensics and social media investigations. Mr. Florez is the owner of Computer Evidence Specialists (CES LLC) which provides investigative and analytical services to the U.S. Government throughout the United States.
