Richard Harris served in the Public Safety field for over 25 years. He worked in several areas of the Police and Fire Service, including Chief of Department. He has been in the Private Investigation field for over 22 years. He has authored "Marketing Checklist for the Private Sector," "Surveillance for the Private Sector Investigator”, "Red Flags of the Fire Fraud" and "Expert Testimony and the changing Case Laws." He has an AA in Criminal Justice, a BS in Fire Safety Management as well as an MA in Public Administration. He has taught at Colleges and Universities throughout the United States on topics relating to Fire, Police and Private Investigations. He also lectures internationally on topics relating to Police & Fire Procedures, Insurance Investigations, Fire Investigations and Expert Testimony and Case Laws as well as other related topics. He is an Expert Witness in various areas related to Criminal and Civil Court Cases. He currently conducts and manages investigations throughout the United States and internationally in cases related to Insurance Fraud, Fire, Burglary, Accident Reconstruction, Theft, Workers Compensation, Marketing, Police and Fire Academies and Surveillance Investigations. He currently is the Director of Fire, Accident Recon, Training and Product Liability Services of an international forensic investigative company. In this capacity, he heads up insurance-related investigations and manages all instructors, fire investigators and product liability engineers. The event is sponsored by the Florida Association of Licensed Investigators (FALI) as part of our continuing efforts to provide our membership with quality educational and networking opportunities. FALI meetings held in the Orlando area are made available for those investigators living or working in central Florida and are open to ALL investigators across the state. Central Florida Area meetings are normally held the last Tuesday of every month at the Best Western Inn, 17-92 and Morse Blvd., Winter Park, FL. If you are traveling and need overnight accommodations, the Best Western offers discounted rates. Dinner before the meeting: If you are interested in dining together around 5:00 p.m. at a venue somewhat near the meeting place, please contact me. Individuals would be responsible for the cost of their meal.
