Investigators' meeting Sponsored by the Florida Association of Licensed Investigators (FALI) Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. Best Western Mount Vernon Inn 110 South Orlando Avenue (17-92 and Morse Blvd.), Winter Park, Florida This month's special guest will be: John Gaspar, B.S., M.S., MMBA, CFE, CSI John Gaspar has enjoyed being a detective both in the public and private sector for 39 years. John is a retired NYPD detective who worked in a variety of positions, including as the NYPD Forensic hypnotist. During his tenure in the Detective Divisions Special Investigations Hypnosis Unit, Detective Gaspar became one of the 10 most experienced and highly regarded Forensic Hypnotists in the United States. After retiring from the NYPD, John was CEO of a large private investigation company in NY staffing over 250 employees and operating with a $10 million dollar annual budget. John then moved to Florida and became a Detective Supervisor with the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office. John was in charge of the Economic Crime Division and a Forensic Hypnotist for the Agency, among other duties. After retiring from Flagler County, John again moved back into private practice as the owner of All Florida Investigations and Forensic Services, Inc. John was asked to assist Tim Miller of Texas Equusearch and performed a forensic interview on Misty Cummings in an attempt to find out the whereabouts of 5 year old Haleigh Cummings who was abducted from her home. John has been a Professor at various Universities and Police Academies for over 25 years. The event is sponsored by the Florida Association of Licensed Investigators (FALI) as part of our continuing efforts to provide our membership with quality educational and networking opportunities. Central Florida Area meetings are normally held the last Tuesday of every month at the Best Western Inn, 17-92 and Morse Blvd., Winter Park, FL.
