There will be a Combined FALI Area 1 Hillsborough, Polk, and Highlands Counties, and FALI Area 3 Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando, Citrus, and Sumter Counties Meeting on Tuesday October 16, 2011 at 6 pm.
Speaker: Investigator’s Mike Smoak and James Moffitt of the Tampa Regional Office, Division of Licensing, Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs.
Topic: Investigator Smoak and Moffitt will be discussing Florida Statute Chapter 493, The Division of Licensing, Rules, Regulations and Laws as relating to Investigative Agencies, Investigators and Investigator Interns, along with additional information that will assist in compliance.
Location: Tampa FOP Lodge 27- 6912 N. Florida Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33604, three
(3) blocks west of I-275, Florida & Sligh Ave., northwest corner. Parking at
the rear of FOP on Dearborn Avenue.

For those attending there will be other investigators and agencies on hand as early as 5:00 PM for early networking.Credit for CEU’s for the Florida Certified Investigators (FCI) will be issued for this meeting. Roy Pierce FCI, CLI, will be available at the meeting to discuss how to become a Florida Certified Investigator (FCI) and the program. There will also be an early sidebar meeting among those of you that are JAC court appointed investigators in attendance.
We have in attendance as private investigators former and retired investigative reporters, law firm in-house investigators, attorney, insurance and adjuster field, medical field, Certified Public Accountants, Computer Forensics, Polygraph, military, federal agents, state and local law enforcement, and all aspects of the business world.
