GUEST SPEAKER:  Mr. Ed Warren, newly appointed Bureau Chief, Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Licensing, Bureau of Regulation and Enforcement.

MR. WARREN BIO:
"Ed Warren began his career with the division in September 2001 as an investigator in the Tampa Regional Office.  In January 2010, he was promoted to the position of Investigator Supervisor (Regional Office Supervisor) in the Punta Gorda Regional Office.  In January 2012, Ed transferred to the Jacksonville Regional Office, where he was serving at the time of his most recent appointment."
"Prior to joining the division, Ed had a long career in law enforcement.  From 1973 to 1986, he worked for the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.  In his final five years with that agency, Ed was assigned to the detective division where he specialized in auto theft and related crimes.  His investigative caseload included multi- jurisdictional task force investigations involving organized crime and racketeering.  From 1986 to 2000, Ed worked for the Winter Haven Police Department. His responsibilities at this agency involved extensive work in street crimes and narcotics investigations."
