Mr. Clarke is the Director of the Threat Management Group at Critical Intervention Services. Prior to joining CIS, Mr. Clarke was the Director of Security for a multi-media company based in New York. Mr. Clarke has extensive experience in executive protection and estate security as well as advance planning, travel, small and large venue event security, threat management, stalking, workplace violence mitigation and related investigations.

Mr. Clarke is an NRA Certified Police Handgun and Shotgun Instructor and holds a K license. As a firearms instructor he assists in Teaching the S2 Institutes Principles of Executive Protection and Detail Operations and advanced firearms classes.

This meeting is being held one week prior to the Republican National Convention in Tampa for the purpose of providing a refresher and updates on techniques and tactical issues that confront today’s personal protection specialist. For those agencies already providing this service, and for those agencies desiring to broaden their services, this presentation will assist in that endeavor.

Further discussion that was held over from the last meeting in Tampa will involve new enhanced DOL stance on the Internship Program and P.I. Agencies Sales Tax issues.

Those attending the meeting are encouraged to request different subjects to discuss and offer their input to assist others in attendance. After the meeting, networking will resume.

We have in attendance as private investigators, former and retired investigative reporters, attorneys, insurance and adjuster field, medical field, military, federal agents, state and local law enforcement, and all aspects of the business world.

For those attending there will be other investigators on hand as early as 5:00 PM for early networking. Credit for CEU’s for our Florida Certified Investigators (FCI) will be issued for this meeting.

At previous meetings there have been "CC” licensed investigators in search of sponsors and at least one agency disseminating information regarding a need or openings for "C” or "CC” licensed investigators. Agencies needing to subcontract with other agencies are encouraged to attend.

At the last FALI area meeting at LEE ROY SELMON’S in Tampathere were thirty-nine (39) private investigators and guests present representing twenty-seven (27) private investigative and other agencies. Those agencies attending are listed as follows: Charter Investigations, J.
