Judge Antoinette Plogstedt
Judge Antoinette Plogstedt was elected by the voters as Orange County Judge in 2000. She has served in a criminal division for 5 years and a civil division for 6 years. She graduated in 1987 from the University of Tampa with a B.S., cum laude, and earned her Juris Doctor Degree from the
University of Florida College of Law in 1990. She was re-elected as Orange County Judge without opposition in 2006.
Judge Plogstedt is a former local Assistant State Attorney. She was an A-V Rated attorney and practiced in both civil and criminal law before taking the bench. She worked in private practice and then started her own law practice. She served as a Guardian Ad Litem for abused and neglected children and received the Legal Aid Award of Excellence in recognition of her work.
Judge Plogstedt was elected to two terms as Secretary of the Orange County Bar Association. Judge Plogstedt served as a board member and officer of the Central Florida Association For Women Lawyers (CFAWL).
Judge Plogstedt has spoken to classes and groups at Valencia College, UCF, Barry University Law School, and FAMU Law School. She is a member of the Inns of Court. She is a volunteer in the Justice Teaching Program where she works with local 7th grade students at Arbor Ridge K-8 School, teaching a class each month.

About the meeting: This is a FREE event is open to ALL members (or potential members) of the investigative professions. The event is sponsored by the Florida Association of Licensed Investigators (FALI) as part of our continuing efforts to provide our membership with quality educational and networking opportunities. FALI meetings held in the Orlando area are made available for those investigators living or working in central Florida and are open to ALL investigators across the state. Central Florida Area meetings are normally held the last Tuesday of every month at the Best Western Inn, 17-92 and Morse Blvd., Winter Park, FL. If you are traveling and need overnight accommodations, the Best Western offers discounted rates.
Dinner before the meeting (different venue from last month!): Several members will be gathering for dinner at 5:00 p.m. at El Potro Mexican Restaurant, 501 North Orlando Avenue, #217, Winter Park, FL 32789 (In between Lifestyle Family Fitness and K-mart). Individuals are responsible for the cost of their meal.
Drinks after the meeting: Feel free to stay, meet, mingle and network with other investigators immediately following the meeting by the poolside of the Best Western.
