Guest Speaker is: Dina Keever, is a former prosecutor, running for State Attorney 15th Circuit Court. She is not a politician. During her service as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, Dina prosecuted more than 250 cases – winning convictions in the following areas:
· Public Corruption
· Violent Crimes
· Gang Violence
· Drug Trafficking
· Firearms Trafficking
· Bank Robberies
· Money Laundering
· Internet Fraud
· Mail and Wire Fraud
· Insurance Fraud
Dina learned first-hand the importance of being a tough, fearless and determined advocate for justice. As a wife and dedicated mother of two, she knows the stakes are high. Dina understands that Palm Beach County’s top prosecutor must be experienced, honest, tough and determined: She brings the following experience
Ø Former Prosecutor for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Miami and Philadelphia
Ø Former Clerk for Federal Appellate Court Judge Peter T. Fay
Ø Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review at Florida State University’s College of Law
Ø Married to Mark for 14 years and the mother of two boys
Topic: She will be speaking about corruption and how we should police our communities and industry. In addition she will speak about her past experience in handling corruption cases.
The area 10 meetings are returning! It’s time to network with other professionals in your area! As always, everyone is invited! Bring your wives, your husbands, your interns or other investigators you may know or anyone that would like to attend! Even though this is a FALI meeting, both members and NON members are always welcome to attend our meetings!
Here is the deal: This is a DINNER meeting. Everyone will choose off of the menu what they want and will pay for their meal on their own. The same applies to bar purchases.
WE HAVE TO HAVE A HEAD COUNT so PLEASE RSVP with a one word "Yes” or "No” and how many in your party so we get a room that will hold all of us!
Dinner will be served in our own private dining room from 6:00 to 7:30.
YOU WILL PAY FOR YOUR OWN BILL FOR DINNER AND BAR DRINKS.
