Guest Speaker
FALI Area 12 meetings provide a great opportunity for investigators to network, hear relevant speakers and the opportunity to learn something new.
Our guest speaker for the evening will be Investigation Specialist II, Owen E. Norman, Jr., of the Division of Licensing. Investigator Norman, is a Jacksonville native. He graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in 1977. In 1970 he joined the Jacksonville Police Department. He served as a Homicide Detective for three years, a Burglary Detective for nine years, Missing Persons Detective for three years, a School Board Detective for eight years and a School Resource Officer for ten years during his thirty-five year police career. He has been employed by the State of Florida as an Investigator for the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Licensing for the past three years.
