This month's special guest: Deputy John Tegg
During his 27 years at the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, John Tegg worked his way up the ranks serving in almost every area of the Sheriff’s Office. In his last position, Tegg served as Division Chief heading up special investigations. Since retiring from the Sheriff’s Office, Tegg served as Chief of Police in the Orange County cities of Edgewood and Belle Isle. His term in Belle Isle involved establishing a police department from the ground up, which is now just less than three years old. Tegg’s educational background includes a Masters in Public Administration, Bachelors in Criminal Justice and graduate training at the FBI National Academy.

About the meeting: This is a FREE event is open to ALL members (or potential members) of the investigative professions. The event is sponsored by the Florida Association of Licensed Investigators (FALI) as part of our continuing efforts to provide our membership with quality educational opportunities. FALI meetings held in the Orlando area are made available for those investigators living or working in central Florida and are open to ALL investigators across the state. Central Florida Area meetings are normally held the last Tuesday of every month at the Best Western Inn, 17-92 and Morse Blvd., Winter Park, FL. If you are traveling and need overnight accommodations, the Best Western offers discounted rates.
Dinner before the meeting (different venue from last month!): Several members will be gathering for dinner at 5:00 p.m. at Bubbalou's BBQ restaurant, 1471 Lee Road, Winter Park, Fl (near 17-92) Phone: 407.628.1212. Individuals are responsible for the cost of their meal.
Drinks after the meeting: Feel free to stay, meet, mingle and network with other investigators immediately following the meeting by the poolside of the Best Western.
