ABOUT THIS MEETING:

This is a FREE event, sponsored by FALI, Florida Association of Licensed Investigators.  You do NOT need to be a member to attend.  We believe networking is important for everyone in our profession.  We welcome LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS, SECURITY PROFESSIONALS, PROCESS SERVERS & STUDENTS IN CRIMINAL JUSTICE PROGRAMS, INTERNS, and YES, you can bring your SPOUSES!

PLEASE RSVP:  The Holiday Inn in Hollywood is being kind enough to offer us a conference room for free, in exchange for the business we bring them. AND they are opening their restaurant an hour early, JUST FOR US!  It is important that we give them a headcount in advance because they will be setting up the conference room and need to know how many chairs  we need. Please RSVP to: Jan@RutterInvestigations.com

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER:    We are so excited to have FRED SPEAKER from the DIVISION OF LICENSING!  He is the Palm Beach Regional Office’s Investigator Supervisor and has been with the Division for nearly 25 years.  He was in charge of the Miami Regional Office from 1988 to 1992 and in 1992, he transferred to Palm Beach County and has been in charge of the West Palm Beach Regional Office since 1992.

TOPIC

FRED SPEAKER will bring to the table a number of topics, including:

·        Employees vs. Contractors

·        Interns, proper direction and control during internships

·        HE WILL ALSO LEAD A "Q & A”  TO ANSWER ANY OTHER QUESTIONS OR TOPICS YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADDRESS.

 NETWORK!  NETWORK!  NETWORK!

There will be networking before and after the 7:00 Meeting, in the lobby lounge and restaurant.  This is a PERFECT opportunity to meet other investigative professionals and look for work opportunities.  Be prepared to give YOUR **ELEVATOR SPEECH** during our individual intros, and don't forget to bring lots of business cards!

 SPECIAL NOTE:

On Behalf of:

You are responsible for your own meal and drinks.  Because the Holiday Inn is being kind enough to GIVE us a conference room FREE OF CHARGE, we all MUST order something from the restaurant or bar, even if it is just a soda or a coffee and dessert.  So, please come and eat, drink and socialize at your own pace, but we kindly ask, that you finished by 6:45 so that we can adjourn to the conference room!  The restaurant will still be open after the meeting if you do not arrive in time to eat before we start.
