Her background in research, marketing, and production hails from more than twenty years in the broadcast and cable industries. Ms. Roberts was a reporter, producer, and host for the Public Affairs Division of the regional cable network Sunsports. She facilitated and hosted many political shows with Florida Governors Bob Martinez, Lawton Chiles, and Jeb Bush. She has moderated call-in shows between statewide candidates and produced live election specials (only one person ever walked off the stage live when he couldn’t handle the question about his criminal background – ask me about it!). Rebecca Roberts joined IRBsearch in the spring of 2006 as the online database company’s National Marketing Director. Ms. Roberts initiated and guided the launch of numerous value-added customer services, including an IRB online training department, a marketing-your-business webinar series, an online investigator’s equipment store, and social business networking. Her adjunct teaching days at Florida State University received rave reviews from both students and professors for facilitating roundtable discussions with guest speakers on topics of American and Florida history. She holds a Bachelor and Master of Science from FSU in the fields of Interdisciplinary Social Science and American and Florida Studies. She will discuss the following topic: She will be speaking about marketing your business through a combination of web-based and direct mail marketing. Topics include how to determine "successful" marketing outcomes, low-cost outsourcing, website metrics, and the fact that direct mail is not dead (it just needs to "pop" to get attention!). The area 10 meetings are returning! It’s time to network with other professionals in your area! As always, everyone is invited! Bring your wives, your husbands, your interns or other investigators you may know or anyone that would like to attend!
