FALI meetings are made available for those investigators living or working in South Florida and are open to ALL investigators across the state.  There will be networking before & after the meeting.   Spouses are welcome to attend as well!

SPEAKER: THOMAS R. STUTLER, ESQ.

TOPIC: "The Insider Threat – Psychology of People Who Betray Their Access.”   Today’s presentation will provide a peek behind the curtain as to how case officers in the counterintelligence world assess potential assets (and informants) based on what we know about why Americans and foreigners have betrayed their access to spy against us, and spied for us!

THE "TAKE AWAY” for you:  Tonight, you will look at the world of informants from a different perspective, and hopefully learn new ways of using this powerful tool in your own investigations.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER:   Author, Attorney, Private Investigator, and Real Estate Developer.  Former Assistant State Attorney, Former FBI Special Agent, and technical consultant to Kevin J. Anderson, the best selling author of the X-File novels. He has worked in the area of counterintelligence, and specialized in cases involving economic espionage and the theft of trade secrets. Cases over the years have involved operational travel to Caymans, China, Taiwan, Russia, Canada, Germany, Greece and the UK.

Today, Tom is the owner of a Private Investigative Agency based in Tampa, Florida, with a sub office in Fort Pierce, which primarily assists corporate security officials, law firms, lenders and insurance companies with their investigative needs in Florida and Caribbean. Tom is a member of the Florida Bar, State Department Overseas Security Advisory Council and ASIS International.

In February of 2011 Tom published a spy thriller novel called The Consulate – A Special Agent Wyckoff Mystery, which is available for download at Barnes and Noble, Amazon, Amazon UK an iTunes. CHECK IT OUT!
