FALI-U Lite is a shortened version of the popular FALI-U full day program. Unlike FALI-U, which is for members with 3+ years of industry related experience, FALI-U Lite is open to all members, regardless of experience level who want to add more to their PI tool box.

This class will focus on background and social media research. Specifically, how to comprehensively conduct online research and optimally utilize the resources available to PIs. Further, we will review some actual case-studies to gain insight into the process of social media research and why it’s necessary to have a “hands on” approach during our investigations.

FALI BootCamp Express

The full day FALI BootCamp takes place in Tampa each September. This "Express" edition will go through the top 10 important tips that every new licensee, needs to begin his or her career. It's also a great reminder for those who have been in the profession for awhile. FALI BootCamp Express will touch upon the basics of starting and operating a business, administrative regulations that apply to investigators and knowledge and tools needed in order to operate as a successful private investigator or agency.



About the speakers:
Ashley Silver obtained a bachelor’s degree from Columbia University in New York and a bachelor’s degree from the Jewish Theological Seminary also located in New York City. She attended UCLA School of Law from which she graduated in May of 2014. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 2015. Since earning her Juris Doctorate, Ashley's practice of law has been devoted primarily to family law. While in law school, she was a summer extern for the Honorable Matthew F. Kennelly, Judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Thereafter, Ashley was an extern in the Family Law Division of the Los Angeles Superior Court for the Honorable David S. Cunningham and the Honorable Michelle Williams Court. In 2016, she joined O&O Investigations, Inc. as an investigator and eventually became co-owner and qualified manager of the company. Ashley's work is primarily focused on in-depth background and asset investigations as well as open source intelligence investigations. While running O&O Investigations, Ashley also taught extensively on the topics of background & social media investigations. She recently moved to Georgia and established her own PI Firm, Silver Consulting Group, where she continues her work conducting extensive background, asset, and open-source intelligence investigations for clients, nationwide.

Tim O’Rourke is president of The Grafton Group, based in Tampa, Florida. Tim has more than 30 years’ experience in conducting and directing the protective and investigations needs of businesses. His practice areas include major fraud investigations, internet crimes, financial crimes, asset searches, product counterfeiting, due diligence and workplace violence. Prior to founding The Grafton Group, Tim served both domestic and multi-national corporations with their protective and investigative needs for twenty-years. During this period Tim was also appointed by the Florida Commissioner to serve as an advisor to the regulatory body which oversees private investigators from 2005-13. Prior to that Tim was selected to assist the DOL with a post 9-11 training curriculum. Tim has served FALI in many capacities including Legislative Chair, Area Director and five years as FALI president. He currently serves as FALI Vice President.

Aleck Ragsdale is from the Atlanta area and has been a professional training specialist with TransUnion TLO for 5+ years. This has included a strong focus and expertise in Law Enforcement and legal investigation training. He has assisted and presented to customers nationwide in their use and understanding of TLO.

Carly Asher Yoost co-founded Child Rescue Coalition with her sister, Desiree, Previously she served as Co-CEO of TLO, which was founded by her father, Hank Asher. TLO specialized in investigative and risk management tools and child protection technology. When Hank suddenly passed away in 2013 Carly and Desiree knew that Hank's  legacy needed to live on which is why they retained ownership of the child protection technology needed to start Child Rescue Coalition. Through proactive partnerships with law enforcement and dedicated community partners, Child Rescue Coalition has trained over 10,000 law enforcement officers in all 50 states and in 77 countries on our CPS Technology, successfully aided in the arrest of more than 9,800 child predators and rescued over 2,200 children from sexual abuse.
