The FALI Advanced PI Skills Workshop is a half day event strategically
developed to advance the skills of investigators in our profession. Like other FALI trainings, this workshop includes professional
development, instruction, activities and discussions. The content is
designed so that you will have the skills and knowledge needed to
provide a new service to your clients, develop new business
opportunities, or put into practice new strategies for your
organization.

Peter Warmka Keynote Speaker Confessions of a CIA Spy - The Art of Human Hacking

Peter Warmka is
a former Senior Intelligence Officer with the CIA with over 20 years
experience in breaching the security of organizations around the world.
Peter is passionate about using his expertise in helping city, state and
federal government entities, non-profits, academic institutes, private
companies and individuals to safeguard their sensitive proprietary and /
or personal data. He's the Founder of Orlando-based firm,
Counterintelligence Institute, LLC, and an adjunct Professor at Webster
University’s Masters Cybersecurity Program. Peter authored Confessions
of a CIA Spy — The Art of Human Hacking, and is a sought-after
conference speaker and podcast guest, as well as the author of numerous
publications on social engineering and the manipulation of insiders.
Mark J Aubin, Esq. How to Stay out of Legal Trouble

Mark J. Aubin, JD, FBCI, FTER is
a licensed investigator, attorney and City of Tampa Code Enforcement
Appeals Special Magistrate. In addition to his extensive investigation
background, he has been practicing law since 1999 and serves as the
Ethics Committee Chairman and general legal advisor for FALI. A licensed
investigator since 2006 he is one of less than 50 of the more than 7000
licensed investigators in the state who have been awarded Florida Board
Certified Investigator (FBCI) status. Mark is also a charter member of
the FALI Child Sex Trafficking Task Force and has spoken on the scourge
of Human Trafficking to various associations. He has extensive
experience in family and criminal law, contracts, bankruptcy,
nondisclosure/noncompete agreements and all aspects of general civil
law. He also formerly served as a Contract Family General Magistrate and
Child Support Hearing officer for the 6th Judicial Circuit.
PI Skills Power Hour: The PI Skills Power Hour will be separate topics covered by two veteran Investigators within one hour and a brief open discussion at the end of each talk.
Nathan Goode. Grayman Concepts: Hiding in Plain Sight The
Grayman Concept engages the art of blending into any environment or
situation. Used by survivalists, undercover surveillance practitioners,
intelligence agencies and international business travelers. You will
gain a glimpse into this concept of blending in for information and
intelligence gathering or security purposes. Understand the skills and
mindset to develop the habits in all austere or unknown environments and
situations.
Nathan Goode spent
over 14 years special assignments and consulting projects within the
U.S. Intelligence and Security community and has traveled to over 98
countries. While abroad, he has experienced first-hand, the threats of
espionage, security breaches and hostile activities, along with the
lengths to which foreign intelligence, businesses and competitors will
go – to steal and acquire U.S. government and business trade secrets.
Mr. Goode currently serves as the lead Consultant/Investigator and CEO
of NGInvestigations, Inc, a Florida based Global Security Consulting and
Risk Mitigation agency in the Central Florida area. Having resided in
the Southern U.S. and a graduate of the University of South Florida, he
frequently travels, lectures, trains and consults clients within the
private corporate and government sectors on how to keep their employees
safe, protect sensitive data they carry, while traveling domestically
and abroad. Mr. Goode is a licensed Private Investigator since 2003 and a
certified PADI and NAUI Divemaster since 2004.
Tim O'Rourke
Tim O’Rourke
is President of The Grafton Group, based in Tampa, Florida. Tim has
more than 30 years’ experience in conducting and directing the
protective and investigations
needs of businesses. His practice areas include major fraud
investigations, internet crimes, financial crimes, asset searches,
product counterfeiting, due diligence
and workplace violence. Prior to founding The Grafton Group, Tim served
both domestic and multi-national corporations with their protective and investigative
needs for twenty-years. During this period Tim was also appointed by
the Florida Commissioner to serve as an advisor to the regulatory body
which oversees
private investigators from 2005-13. Prior to that Tim was selected to
assist the DOL with a post 9-11 training curriculum. Tim served
as president of FALI from 2011-2016. Under Tim’s leadership FALI doubled
its size and became the second largest PI Association in the country. He implemented FALI programs including FALI BootCamp, FALI-U, the Milestone Membership, the FALI Library and the Big 3 membership with CALI and TALI. Tim currently serves as FALI Secretary, Legislative Co-chair and Scholarship Chair.
