FALI-U Lite is a shortened version of the popular FALI-U full day program. Unlike FALI-U, which is for members with 3+ years of industry related experience, FALI-U Lite is open to all members, regardless of experience level who want to add more to their PI tool box. This event is FREE to FALI members throughout the State as well as those who are members of PI Associations in neighboring States.
Join us for three sessions to help with the “business” end of your business:
Session One: 1:00PM - 2:45PM
“An Important Crash Course in Using the Correct Contracts and Business Practices.”
Presented by:
FALI Life Member Mark Aubin, Esq, FBCI

Mark will be presenting a shortened version of the FALI-U program he gave in Tampa in October. But don’t worry about the length, he will fill it with essential, and critical, pointers of what makes a successful business contract. These include: a 30 day expiration of services, client no-interference clauses, initialing each and every contract page, reading the contract to the client in its entirety, and much more. Many of the contracts Mark will discuss are already on the FALI website for member use, but come in person so you can ask questions and learn their proper use.
Session Two: 3:00PM - 3:30PM
“An 'Educational' Word From our Sponsor.”
Presented by:

You'll learn how billions of records provided by Nationwide License Plate Recognition (LPR) data can help you: analyze recent and historical sightings to identify new addresses, find new associates, confirm a subject is in the region you're searching, simultaneously monitor multiple addresses and cross reference common vehicles. Whether your cases involve locating missing persons, finding stolen vehicles, investigating workers compensation or fraud claims, this is your chance to learn tips and tricks for using vehicle sightings to help close the next case.
Session Three: 3:45PM - 5:15PM
“Marketing to Attorneys.”
Presented by:
Tom Brooks

Over the last decade Tom has been a guest speaker at many area FALI meetings as well as several annual Conferences. IN this presentation he will assist you on how to be more effective on marketing your services to Attorneys. He will provide an insight from an Attorney’s prospective and address some of the issues that can make your efforts worthless. Marketing sources and strategies will be discussed. There will be time for a question and answer session at the end.
