Members of FALI that are part of the CST Task Force volunteer their time to investigate missing or exploited at risk children in Florida. FALI may also use the association’s resources to coordinate information/investigations through volunteer private investigators in other states. FALI’s CST Task Force resources are available to Law Enforcement entities and parents or legal guardians of missing “at risk” children. All missing minors are potentially at risk for falling prey to human and sex traffickers.

The basic criteria that needs to be met in order for FALI to take on a case include:

Cases that involve minors (less than 18 years of age).
Minors that are at risk for involvement in possible drug trafficking, prostitution, pornography, or illegal labor.
Cases that originate in Florida or there is evidence of the minor being physically present in Florida.
Parents, legal guardians, or law enforcement must be the ones requesting FALI involvement.
Parent/guardian must be willing to sign an Investigative Services Agreement (no charge).
Report filed with law enforcement.
