Topic:
We are currently awaiting confirmation from a speaker who will discuss DSLR and video cameras, i.e. their different functions, prices points, and pros and cons of the different cameras. If approved by Corporate, the speaker will bring an assortment of cameras at different price points to conduct a hands-on demonstration. This would be a perfect time to bring your camera that you still have yet to master for tips and tricks!
Should the speaker be unable to attend, we will have an open discussion and networking meeting. We will cover subjects such as ethics, sub-contracting with other agencies, managing an agency, obtaining agency insurance, sponsorship of Interns, "C" Licensees seeking employment, "CC" licensees seeking sponsors, unlawful recordings, best surveillance vehicles, current camera equipment in use, intrusion of seclusion, misprision of felony, divulging client information, and Employee Action Reports. Those attending the meeting are encouraged to request different subjects to discuss and offer their input to assist others in attendance. *****
At
previous meetings there have been "CC” licensed investigators in search
of sponsors, so if you are an agency owner needing to fill positions,
or needing to subcontract with other agencies, you are encouraged to
attend.
Members are encouraged to suggest speakers and/or topics
they would like to have for upcoming meetings. These meetings are for
the members and as such, would like to have input as to your interests.

Northeast Florida Area meetings provide a great opportunity for
investigators to network, hear relevant speakers and the opportunity to
learn something new. Meetings are held the second Monday of every month
alternating locations between Jacksonville and St. Augustine. Please
remember that FALI meetings are open to everyone, including spouses and
guests (Members or Non-Members).
