Tampa Bay Area Investigators Meeting

There will be a Combined FALI Area 1 Hillsborough, Polk, and Highlands Counties, and   FALI Area 3 Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando, Citrus, and Sumter Counties Meeting on Monday January 17, 2010 at 6 pm.

Speaker:   Investigator Chuck Olson of the Tampa Regional Office, Division of Licensing, Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs.

Topic:     Investigator Olson will be discussing Florida Statute Chapter 493, Division of Licensing, Rules, Regulations and Laws as relating to Investigative Agencies, Investigators and Investigator Interns along with information that will assist in compliance.

For those attending there will be other investigators on hand as early as 5:30 PM for early networking. Credit for CEU’s for our Florida Certified Investigators (FCI) will be issued for this meeting. Roy Pierce FCI, CLI, will be available at the meeting to discuss how to become a Florida Certified Investigator (FCI)  and the program. There will also be an early sidebar meeting among those of you that are JAC court appointed investigators in attendance.     

We have in attendance as private investigators former and retired investigative reporters, law firm in-house investigators, attorney, insurance and adjuster field, medical field, military, federal agents, state and local law enforcement, and all aspects of the business world.

 At the last FALI area meeting at the Olive Garden in Pinellas Park/St. Petersburg, there were Thirty-Five (35) private investigators and guests present representing Twenty-Six (26) private investigative agencies.  Those agencies attending are listed as follows:  Lee Cannon & Associates, Critical Intervention Services, Charter Investigations, D.P. Lydon & Associates, Apollo Investigations, CM Investigations, SLK Investigations, Ultimate Investigative Facts, J. Belich & Associates, GRT Consultants, TWS Investigations, Bob Roberts P.I., Axion Investigations, Borden Investigations, Grady Snyder & Associates, ASI Apex Surveillance & Investigations, Freedom Investigative Services, Atlas Information Research, Gator Investigators, Diligent Investigative Group, In-House Investigations, Trident Protection & Investigation, Teco Energy, AJ Super Snoopers, Mack Investigative Services, and many others. 

Also present were "CC” licensed investigators in search of sponsors. Sidebar discussions involved agency representative(s) disseminating information regarding a need to sub-contract with other agencies and openings for "C” or "CC” licensed investigators.
