Retired Senior Special Agent of the FBI, with over 32 years of military and federal service; successful management experience including: personnel management, communication, crisis/kidnapping negotiations, planning, coordinating, forecasting, organizing, problem solving, property management, training and development and logistics management. Trained law enforcement officers, US and foreign nationals from countries in Central/South America, the Caribbean, and Southern Africa. Bi-Lingual (English & Spanish).
Mr. Faría was sworn in as a Special Agent of the FBI on April 4, 1992. He has served in four FBI field divisions (San Antonio, San Juan, Norfolk, and Tampa) and has been assigned to every FBI program to include criminal, counter-terrorism and counterintelligence. He has also served as a member of the Evidence Response Team, Hazardous Material Response Team, Crisis/Hostage Negotiator, SWAT, FBI's National Recruitment Team, and personnel testing and hiring.
