Bruce Anderson is the CEO and Co-Founder of Cyber Investigation Services LLC a boutique high tech Cyber Investigation and Intelligence Agency with its home offices located in Tampa, Florida. CIS specializes in helping Corporations, Law Firms & Professionals; navigate the complex world of Cyber & Internet Threats that impact Corporate and Global brands, Intellectual Property, financial assets, Corporate Security and Liability. As a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Cyber Security Analyst (ECSA), and Certified Digital Forensic Engineer (CDFE) Mr. Anderson has been responsible for solving cases involving international hacker groups, multi-national companies, insider theft, organized fraud rings, extortion, tortious interference, trademark infringement, counterfeiting and defamation.
Dean Beers, CLI, CCDI, began his investigative career in 1987 with general investigations, as well as individual locates, backgrounds and assets & liabilities. He is a Certified Legal Investigator and Certified Criminal Defense Investigator, and expert consultant/witness in criminal defense homicide and civil equivocal death investigations. He is also certified in Medicolegal Death Investigations and is a POST certified instructor, and experienced forensic autopsy assistant. Dean has authored a textbook "Practical Methods for Legal Investigations: Concepts and Protocols in Civil and Criminal Cases,” as well co-authored multiple online distance learning courses from ethics to death investigations. He has lectured extensively and authored multiple articles, peer-reviewed white papers, and provided expert testimony. Dean serves the investigative profession as the President of NCISS, as well as holding positions in NALI, WAD and CDITC.
Jerry Bloechle has over 40 years of law enforcement and investigations experience, at both the municipal, and Federal level. During his 20 year career with the Largo, Florida Police Department, of which he served as "Chief of Police,” he gained experience in detective work, polygraph examination, hypnosis, SWAT operations, and protective services. Concurrent with his civilian police career, he remained a reserve special agent with the US Air Force’s Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI), participating in criminal and counterintelligence investigations, counter-terrorism and protective services operations. He was mobilized immediately following the attacks of September 11, 2001, and served in various key assignments. He has taught various law enforcement related subjects at police academies, including domestic violence investigation, officer survival, basic and advanced firearms, and special weapons and tactics. US Department of Defense Officials, foreign heads of state and ministers, and even the President of the United States have relied upon Jerry Bloechle,
Richard Brooks is the owner, and lead Investigator of Richard Brooks Investigations, LLC based in the Jackson, Mississippi metro area and serving portions of the Southern United States. He is the Immediate Past President of the Mississippi Professional Investigators Association, and the Mississippi Chapter Director of the Association of Christian Investigators. Richard is a member of other international, national and state PI associations, most notably the Council of (PI) Association Leaders, NALI, NCISS and the International Intelligence Network. Richard is a former active duty military and civilian law enforcement officer. He is a certified forensic interviewer. He has been designated, and testified, as an expert in general police procedures, probable cause and use of force. Richard has also appeared on a network reality show as a PI.
Harriet Gold is a native of Miami, Florida and currently lives in Atlanta, Ga. She operates Gold Investigations, Inc. in both Florida and Georgia. Harriet has over 30 years of investigative experience. She started her career investigating insurance claims for Equifax, and then spent several more years working for various firms doing criminal defense and plaintiff investigations. She opened Gold Investigations in 1989 and then from 2000-2004 took a break and went to work for Progressive Insurance Company as an investigator in their special investigations unit. Since June of 2004 she has operated her agency which specializes in insurance and personal injury investigations and all types of litigation investigation. She has taught many classes on researching court records and how these records can assist in investigations. Harriet is a member of many different PI Associations in which she has held various Board positions. Currently, she serves as the Southeastern Director for the National Association of Legal Investigators (NALI).
Andy Kindred is a former private investigator who got his start in Orlando. He has experience in computer forensics, email tracing, incident response and counter-surveillance. He has assisted and contributed in numerous law enforcement and private investigations ranging from data breaches to technical surveillance. His areas of expertise and research include regulatory compliance, web application security, impact of mobile devices on society, log analysis. Andy holds certifications as both a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP). He is a former President of the Colorado Professional Private Investigator’s Association.
Thomas Mallon retired from the Baltimore City Police Department after 21 years of service During his time as a Police Detective, he worked in the Homicide unit, Homicide Operations, Shooting and Street Crimes Units as well as the patrol units In 2010, he started his career with the Division of Licensing in the Punta Gorda Regional Office as a state investigator. In 2012 he was promoted to the Investigation Manager. In 2016 he moved from Punta Gorda to Tallahassee where he assumed the position of the Tallahassee Regional Office Manager. In January he was promoted the Regional Office Administrator overseeing the 8 Regional Offices.
Rebecca Roberts is an award-winning communications strategist. Her background includes twenty years as a documentary show producer for regional cable television and the FOX Sports cable industry. She won statewide awards for shows that brought attention to natural disasters, Caribbean trade, and an outside adventure series. She has traveled throughout the country giving presentations on database use for private investigators. She worked for the Florida Chamber of Commerce and the Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association. She recently organized a press conference on Florida's Opioid Crisis with over a dozen state legislators and Attorney General Pam Bondi. The unifying theme in all her endeavors is the need to develop a story, engage the customer, and present a clear Call to Action—and then measure results.
Dennis Root is the President of Dennis Root & Associates, Inc., an expert consultant and professional investigations firm. He is a nationally recognized expert who testifies in cases regarding the use of force and personal safety. His area of expertise has him working force cases across the United States and he has appeared on CNN, HLN, and many national and local news media programs. Dennis also served as the use of force expert during the well-publicized cases involving George Zimmerman (FL) and Micah LeMaster (WV). Dennis has more than 27 years of law enforcement experience and regularly provides force related training for both law enforcement personnel and private citizens. Dennis is also the Founder and President of the Dennis Root Public Safety Foundation. The Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing crime prevention and personal safety programs to the community for free. The Foundation also strives to support the specialized needs of our law enforcement and military K-9 teams.
Ethan Wall worked for eight years as a social media law attorney, author, professor, consultant and keynote speaker. He teaches Social Media and the Law at Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Ethan developed a course to teach law students about the effect of social media on the legal and business community, how to use social media strategically in litigation, and how to correctly and ethically use social media in the practice of law. He serves as an advisor to leaders in the legal, and business communities, as they seek to implement practical and ethical guidelines in their workplaces. Ethan founded The Social Media Law Firm to provide solutions to social media legal issues. He has become recognized as an authority on the effect of social media on the law. He authored four books and developed the Social Media Law and Order blog to chronicle the effect of Facebook, Twitter, and other social media on the law.
Robert Wyman is President of Wyman Enterprises, Inc., in Coral Springs, Florida. Wyman Enterprises provides Forensic Photography and Evidence Documentation services for civil and criminal cases, including secondary criminal investigations by the State Attorney's Office, and support to Law Enforcement Agencies requiring specialized photo documentation or analysis. Robert has been accepted as an Expert Witness in Federal, State and local courts. His work has been published in 4 books regarding Traffic Crash Reconstruction and Evidence Documentation, as well as numerous articles in magazines and industry newsletters. He formerly served as a Traffic Analyst, Traffic Engineer, and Emergency Management Coordinator for Miami-Dade County government, then took a non-sworn position as Special Events Coordinator for the City of Miami Police Department. He has been in full time private practice since 1988.
